Ingredients

  • 1 x Ready-made bread dough from the supermarket at room temperature
  • Oreos, roughly crushed
  • Castor sugar
  • Oil for deep frying / Deep fryer
  • Piping Bag for the filling
  • For the filling:

  • 250g full fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 125g (softened) Kerrygold Pure Irish Salted Butter
  • 360g icing sugar
  • 15ml vanilla paste
  • 1 x 133g Oreo, crushed

Directions

Recipe by JSomething
  1. Divide the bread dough into 30g pieces. Using your fingers shape the dough into balls – let them rest at room temperature for 15-20 minutes then deep fry the bread dough until golden brown on the outside & cooked through the center. Remove the doughnuts from the fryer and roll them in castor sugar. Let them cool.
  2. For the creamy filling, in a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat the cream cheese and butter together on high speed until smooth and creamy. Add the icing sugar, vanilla and crushed Oreos then beat until well combined and smooth. Put the filling into a piping bag.
  3. Using a small knife cut halfway into the doughnut and create some space for the filling. Fill the doughnuts with the Oreo cream. And sprinkle crushed Oreos on top.
