Ingredients

  • 1 cup warmed milk
  • 2 tsp. White sugar
  • 10g instant yeast
  • 4 tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups plain flour
  • 3 cloves of garlic and a handful of parsley
  • 4 tbsp. Kerrygold butter

Directions

  • Add the milk, white sugar, and instant yeast, together and let the yeast bloom/froth
  • Add the vegetable oil and egg to the yeast and whisk to combine.
  • Add the yeast the flour, stir well and then knead the dough.
  • Allow it to rise in a warm place for 45min, if your home is cold, this may take up to an hour
  • Once it’s risen, divide the dough into small dough balls, cover with plastic wrap and let rise again for 15-20min.
  • Bake in the oven for 180c for 15-20min with fan. Brush with egg wash beforehand.
  • Boil the garlic, parsley, and butter together and brush onto roll once they’re baked and enjoy.
