The 2016 Kerrygold Ballymaloe LitFest
Litfest 2016 is about to start and we for one cannot wait! This will be Kerrygold’s third year partnering with Ballymaloe as main sponsor and we’re quite the match considering we share the same passion for real Irish butter, great food and fantastic ingredients! So it goes without saying, if you are a fan of food and drink, there’s no better place to be on earth than Kerrygold Ballymaloe Litfest!
Since Litfest launched to great acclaim in 2013, it has quickly and firmly established itself globally as the go-to destination for seeing and celebrating the best Irish and international chefs, the most popular writers of both food and fiction and a host of hugely respected food critics from right around the world. And that’s just the entrée.
If you’re lucky enough to be joining us in the incredible surroundings of the world-famous Ballymaloe Cookery School, you’re in for a treat… or twenty! There’ll be music, discussion, talks and theatre. We’ll have photographers, television personalities and food and drink for every type of palette. So we’ve put together some sneak previews of what to look forward to this year:
Litfest is an Irish festival with an international flavour and one that we are very proud to be the main sponsor of. From the Queen of Irish cuisine Darina Allen, to the King Rory O’Connell, their entire team put on an incredible show that simply gets better and better every year. While the bar was set exceptionally high in 2015, we just know that 2016 is going to be the best yet, so bring it on!
