#Litfest16 Fringe Festival Fun

While Litfest is the event to attend for food lovers, it’s also a fantastic way of spending a fun weekend with your family and friends. In fact, we get so many families down to Litfest that we had to build The Big Shed just to keep them all entertained!

 Kerrygold Ballymaloe Litfest Welcome dinner

The Litfest Fringe Festival is the only place in Ireland where you’ll see gardeners talking to cooks; foragers entertaining food historians; critics having the craic with musicians; food producers chatting with bloggers; writers reading beside readers writing; and everybody having the time of their life!

Litfest2014

For just €5 a day (with children under 12 going free!), you can enjoy singing, dancing, reading, writing or debating, all under one roof. Whether you’re looking to rub shoulders with some of the best-known names in literature, cuisine and the arts, or you’re just looking to keep the kids (or yourself) entertained, the Litfest Fringe Festival has everything from brewers to bakers and the ultimate fun-makers. While it is one big buzz of activity for visitors young and less young, you can still come on in and simply take in the atmosphere while you take a load off during the busy day – and of course enjoy the delicious food and drink.

For full details of the Fringe Festival Programme check out the Kerrygold Ballymaloe Litfest 2016 website.
