DEFINITIONS
- Competition – the competition organised by the Organisers for the Prizes in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
- Promoter – Ornua Co-operative Limited, Grattan House, Lower Mount Street, Dublin 2.
- Retailer – Tesco Ireland PLC, Gresham House, Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.
- Organisers – the Promoter and the Retailer jointly.
- Supplier – Celtic Interiors Ltd, Unit 10 Saint Patricks Woollen Mills, Douglas, Cork, T12 RX66.
- Prizes – one Irish handmade kitchen (Main Prize), as more particularly detailed in the Terms and Conditions and in section 3 below, or one of twenty-five runner up prizes.
- Terms and Conditions – the terms and conditions to enter the Competition as detailed in section 2 below.
- Main Prize Specifications – the specifications of the Main Prize as detailed in the Terms and Conditions and in section 3 below.
- Supplier Terms and Conditions – the terms and conditions of the Supplier, available Terms & Conditions 2021 – Celtic Interiors.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- By entering this Competition, entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- The Competition is open only to residents of the Republic of Ireland over the age of 18, excluding employees and their immediate families (defined as parents, siblings, children and spouse regardless of where they live) of the Organisers, or their affiliated companies, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the Competition. Only one Prize winner per household.
- The Competition opens on 19.05.21 at 9:00am and closes on 15.06.21 at 11.59pm (GMT). Entries received after this time will not be counted.
- Failure to adhere to these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification from the Competition and forfeiture of any Prize.
- To enter the Competition, participants must text KERRYGOLD to 50400. No other form of entry will be accepted.
- A maximum of one text entry per mobile number will be accepted. Entrants must own the phone used to enter the Competition or have obtained the phone owner’s permission before entering the Competition.
- In the event of the entrant’s mobile number changing or the mobile phone being lost, stolen or damaged, the Promoter is not able to transfer any existing entry to a new mobile number.
- Winners will be drawn at random, from all valid entries received by the closing date. Winners will be notified via the telephone number used at the time of entry within 28 days of the closing date. Winners must confirm acceptance of their prize within 7 days of the original notification – failure to do so will result in the Prize being awarded to an alternative winner.
- The Organiser’s decisions with respect to any matter concerning the Competition and these Terms and Conditions will be final; the Organisers are under absolutely no obligation to enter into correspondence with entrants or prize winners in relation to any matter concerning the Competition.
- The Main Prize is one new handmade fitted kitchen supplied by the Supplier, to a maximum value of €15,000 plus an additional €3,000 worth of appliances (“Maximum Value”) – this includes the cost purchasing the Main Prize and installation costs. The Promoter will cover the costs of the Main Prize up to the Maximum Value. Any costs above the Maximum Value or additional works required or expenses incurred above the Maximum Value and on-going maintenance of the Main Prize following installation will be at the expense and responsibility of the Main Prize winner and the Organisers have no liability in this regard whatsoever. By entering the Competition, entrants expressly acknowledge that they have read, understood and accept that the Promoter will not cover any costs above the Maximum Value and the Promoter will have no liability for any costs above the Maximum Value whatsoever in any circumstances.
- Installation of the Main Prize must be in the Republic of Ireland. The Prize winner’s acceptance of the Main Prize is subject to additional criteria and terms and conditions of the Supplier – please refer to the Supplier Terms and Conditions Terms & Conditions 2021 – Celtic Interiors. By entering the Competition, entrants are deemed to have read and accepted the Supplier Terms and Conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promoter will cover the costs of the Main Prize up to the Maximum Value, and the Supplier Terms and Conditions shall be read accordingly – other than with respect to payment, the Supplier Terms and Conditions shall take effect directly between the Supplier and the winner of the Main Prize and the Organisers have no responsibility or liability whatsoever in respect of any statements made or warranties given under those Supplier Terms and Conditions, and in particular the Organisers provide no warranty as to the fitness or condition of the Main Prize whatsoever. It is expressly acknowledged that (other than with respect to payment for the Main Prize up to the Maximum Value in accordance with these Terms and Conditions) the Supplier Terms and Conditions shall take effect directly between the winner of the Main Prize and the Supplier and the Organisers have no responsibility in this regard whatsoever. The Organisers shall be entitled to refer the recipients of the Main Prize to the Supplier in connection with any claims/complaints etc. that may be received by or made in relation to the Main Prize.
- The winner of the Main Prize must be the owner of a property and agree to offer full permission of the Supplier to install a new kitchen and to remove the Main Prize winner’s existing kitchen. The Main Prize is not applicable to homes that are rented or otherwise not the property of the Competition winner.
- There are 25 runner-up prizes – 15 Kerrygold picnic hampers, and 10 Tesco Gift Cards.
- Subject to the remainder of this paragraph, the Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. There is no cash alternative or refund offered for the Main Prize. In the event that the Main Prize winner cannot meet the eligibility criteria for awarding of the Main Prize, they may (at the Promoter’s discretion) be offered a grace period of three months from the date of winning the Main Prize, to:
- satisfy the eligibility criteria for the Main Prize; or
- nominate a qualifying friend or family member to receive the Main Prize instead of them.
The Main Prize will be forfeited if the winner cannot meet the eligibility criteria for acceptance of the Main Prize or fails to nominate a qualifying alternative recipient within three months, and in such a case neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of the Main Prize.
- All text entries will be free of charge to all networks within the Republic of Ireland. Bulk entries or entries sent via third parties will not be accepted.
- The Organisers will exclude any entries, which they believe to be fraudulent or based on misconduct or to be otherwise illegal and/or non-compliant with these Terms and Conditions.
- The Organisers accept no responsibility for entries which are not received, not delivered, incomplete, indecipherable, or not in accordance with the entry instructions and/or these Terms and Conditions. No responsibility will be accepted for any entries that are delayed or that are unable to be sent for technical or any other reasons, including without limitation lack of network coverage, operator error, handset MMS incompatibility issues, messaging loss, delays or billing issues. The mobile provider facilitating the mobile element of this Competiiton is Dunnhumby (01) 4769634.
- The Organisers reserve the right to vary these Terms and Conditions at their absolute discretion or to terminate the Competition or modify any aspect of the Competition at any time without notice. The Organisers are under no obligation to enter correspondence in relation to any dispute arising out of the Competition, including without limitation its termination or cancellation.
- To the greatest extent permitted by law, the Organisers accept no responsibility for any distress, damage, loss, or injury of any kind whatsoever suffered by any entrant in entering the Competition or in connection with any Prize, including but not limited to as a result of any entrant winning or not winning a Prize.
- Prize winners may be asked by the Promoter to participate (without payment) in reasonable promotional activity (such as publicity, photography, or videography) surrounding the winning of a Prize, and/or to consent to use of their name and/or image in online and offline promotional materials (“Promotional Activity”). Participation in Promotional Activity is voluntary and will be subject to receipt of prior consent from participating individuals.
- Unless expressly agreed or as otherwise permitted in accordance with the Data Protection Legislation (as defined below), any personal data entrants provide in the context of the Competition will be used by the Organisers for the purposes of conducting this Competition and for no other purpose. Organisers may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this Competition or for communicating with entrants. The Organisers are bound by the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – together with the DPA, the “Data Protection Legislation”) with respect to the collection and use of any personal data in connection with this Competition; all personal data processed by the Organisers will be in accordance with the Data Protection Legislation. - These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, existence, negotiation, validity, termination or enforceability (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish law. The Courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Terms and Conditions or their subject matter, existence, negotiation, validity, termination or enforceability (including non-contractual disputes or claims).

Lead time: approximately 7 – 10 weeks from the date of winning the Main Prize. On request, the Supplier can accommodate installation of the Main Prize up to one year from the date of acceptance of the Main Prize.
Build time: approximately 2 weeks from start to finish.
Note: the Supplier adheres strictly to applicable government guidelines relating to Covid-19. Without limitation, only one team member will be allowed on site at the Mian Prize winner’s home to install the kitchen; the kitchen fitter must be always on their own in the kitchen during works.
