5 Eggcellent Easter Table Décor Ideas


Easter holidays are the perfect time to spend time with friends and family – and also makes for an excellent excuse to indulge in some delicious Easter-themed snacks and chocolates!

Easter is right around the corner and we have put together some ‘eggcellent’ easter table décor ideas that are sure to brighten up your Easter party or luncheon.

1. Vintage Teakettle Centerpiece

Do you remember that vintage teakettle that’s standing in the dark corner of your kitchen cupboard? We all have one of those and don’t have the heart to let go of it.

But the good news is that you can revamp it to use as an Easter centrepiece

All you will need is:

  • Vintage teakettle
  • Paint of your choice
  • Paintbrush
  • Flowers of your choice

How to do it:

Give your vintage teakettle a good clean and allow it to dry completely before painting. Choose the colours of your choice, pastels work wonderfully for Easter décor and unleash your creativity.

Allow to dry completely before placing your favourite flowers inside and that’s it! You now have a beautiful Easter-themed centrepiece. You can always repaint it for other occasions too!

2. Napkin Bunny Ears

Are you tired of the conventional “napkin in glass” décor? Spruce up your Easter table with this adorable napkin bunny ears craft idea. It’s super cute and your guests are guaranteed to ask for a tutorial!

All you need is:

  • Colourful napkins
  • White pipe cleaner
  • Yellow bead

How to do it:

Fold a napkin in half to form a triangle, then roll the folded napkin into a long strip and fold in half again. Now thread a six-inch white pipe cleaner through a bead and secure it around the back of the napkin.

Insert three-inch pipe cleaners through the bead to form the bunny whiskers.

3. Easter Lemons and Tulips

Sometimes the simplest centrepieces are the most elegant, which is definitely the case with this Easter lemons and tulips centrepiece combination.

All you need is:

  • 2 empty jars
  • Large clear vase
  • Twine
  • Paper doilies
  • Modge Podge
  • Paintbrush
  • Fresh lemons
  • Fresh white and yellow tulips

How to do it:

Using your modge podge and brush, stick the paper doilies to the front and backside of the two empty jars. Once completely dried, complete the rustic look with some twine. Wrap the twine around the jar as many times as you would like and tie it off into a bow.

Fill the two jars with fresh white and yellow tulips.

Clean off your fresh lemons and place them inside the large, clear vase.

4. Easter Egg Bouquet

Make your Easter table look “pretty in pink” with this gorgeous Easter Egg Bouquet centrepiece. We’ve seen colourful marbles and stones but have you ever thought to use eggs? Today is the day to try new things!

All you need is:

  • Clear empty vase
  • Small/medium-sized eggs
  • Pink or red food colouring

How to do it:

Using your pink or red food colouring, dye the eggs varying shades of pink. Set them aside to completely dry on a tray before arranging them in your empty vase.

Finish the centrepiece off with flowers that match the colour of your eggs. You can also use different colour food colouring and flowers if you prefer.

Tip: if you do not want to use real eggs, you can always use plain white chocolate eggs. This way you have a small handmade favour to hand out to your guests for an after-lunch treat.

5. Bunny Bottle Décor

Have some empty wine bottles that you have not thrown out yet? These make for some easy, simple Easter decorations by adding your very own custom bunny label!

All you need is:

  • Empty wine bottles
  • Modge podge
  • Paintbrush
  • Glue
  • Coloured paper with a printed out bunny
  • Cotton wool

How to do it:

Find and print a picture of a bunny on coloured craft paper. Using a paintbrush, stick the bunny to the wine bottle using modge podge.

Be sure to press and smooth the paper down properly to ensure that it sticks evenly across the surface of the wine bottle.

Using a small bit of glue, stick a piece of cotton wool onto the hind of the bunny to give him a cute, fuzzy tail.
