Our Heritage

With our partners, the National Dairy Council, every year we go on the hunt for Ireland’s best milk. Irish dairy farmers produce the world’s finest milk from the happiest grass-fed cows and the NDC & Kerrygold Quality Milk Awards recognise and reward the cream of the crop from across the Republic of Ireland. In 2015, the O’Sullivan family from Goleen in West Cork fought off tough competition from some 17,000 dairy farmers and 12 national finalists to be crowned Ireland’s milk champions, taking home the much coveted NDC & Kerrygold Quality Milk Awards perpetual cup.
